HRH The Duke of Edinburgh on his visit to the Refurbished Kirkgate Markets in Leeds - February 1995.

The Duke was on fine form as he toured the market stalls. Accompanied by the Lady Lord Mayor, at a ladies clothing stall he spied some nighties hanging up. 'Is this the kind of thing you wear then' he cheekily enquired.  Passing a Sandwich stall he spied some baguettes, and jokingly said to some ladies in the 

crowd,' They are big ones!!'
