HRH The Duchess of Kent was Guest of Honour at the
150th Ryedale Show, held in Kirkymoorside, near the Duchess's Chuldhood Home of Hovingham Hall, North Yorkshire.
On her arrival, she was escorted by her nephew, Sir William Worsley. She toured the Showground, meeting as many representatives, and travelled in a Buggy.
Wearing a Arm Support, the Duchess was heard to say she was recovering from breakung her collarbone.
On display were a wide variety of Animals, including Displays of Dressed Horses, and also a Child's Fancy Dress, which the Duchess presented the prizes for.
It was a rare appearance for the Duchess, who gave up royal duties some years ago.
