HRH The Countess of Wessex attending the 156th Great Yorkshire Show at the Harrogate Showground in July 2014.

As well as looking around the Animals, she also found time to meet a 'Hagrid' Harry Potter Impersonator and was given a Bag of locally grown produce as a leaving gift.

HM The Queen & Prince Philip Beverley Racecourse July 2002

HM The Queen & Prince Philip visited Beverley Racecourse, in their Golden Jubilee Year, 2002.  

Upon arrival they watched a flypast, and then visited the County Fair, there was even an appearance on a Balcony. 

They later went into the Paddock to meet Jockeys prior to the running of the Golden Jubilee Race.

HRH The Countess of Wessex visiting the Great Yorkshire  Show in July 2014. As well as inspecting cattle and handing out awards she also was given a bag of locally grown produce. 

At the end of her visit she even met Hagrid from 'Harry Potter'!!!
