This was to be the Queen Mother's last Birthday - Her 101st on 4th August, 2001. Surrounded by her family, and wellwishers, she appeared at the gates of her London home, Clarence House to accept flowers from children, and then go on a walkabout in her 'Buggy' before re-appearing with the Queen and her family to wave goodbye.
