On her visit to Newmarket in November 2016, (the home of Horse Racing). HM The Queen unveiled a Statue of herself, with a Foal and Mare. Sculpted by Etienne Millner and Charlie Langton. Accompanying the Queen was HRH Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussein. The Princesses husband, Sheikh Mohammed, (a well know name in racing) had financed the statue and it was unveilled as a tribute to the Queen in her 90th Year.
Large crowds saw the Queen arrive and depart by helicopter on the racecourse, and then saw her 'walk the red carpet and accepted many floral bouquets on her way to her car.
