TRH The Prince of Wales & Duchess of Cornwall on their visit to The Piece Hall, a former Georgian Cloth Hall that has been given a multi-million renovation.
Large crowds greeted them on their mid-morning arrival, and lots of local schoolchildren sang to them. The Prince and Duchess were as always fantastic to chat to. I had a lovely chat with the Duchess about her visit to the Bronte Parsonage that afternoon. She said she had always been wanting to visit.
After a seperrate tour of the many shops now located at the Hall, they waved from the balcony to the crowd gathered in the Piazza and then unvelied a plaque marking their visit.
